Default Got the trunk done!
It's a custom built box with bulletproof plexi up front, LED's, and a JL 13W7

I didn't know how it was going to turn out. I tod the guys I wanted a plexi front, and they went all out on the box.

What are you running for subs, and I'm not familiar with Alpine amps how many watts are R10's and what class are they?

OK just found out R10's are subs! sorry, But if you think those are loud try a 13W7, no comparison, They are the best one Ive ever heard, plus I love em, but need an appropriate power supply.

One 13W7 will make you ears bleed with a 1000x1 JL amp. But Im sure those Alpines do just fine, I always thought that a smaller cone made a tighter sound myself.

bigger cone = more surface area = deeper tones = less umpfh.

Smaller speakers = not as deep tones but faster response on cone = harder hitting bass.

I went with the JL 1000/1, I had a kicker kx1200.1, and then upgraded it.

Let's just say, I can't turn the bass up too much, The sunroof was flexing like crazy!
