[QUOTE=Nacho SS;9657655]Supporting mods and/or tune ring a bell to you?

Well sorry but I'am gonna have to baby talk to you to get you to understand(Thanks for listening I knew you would understand) SUPPORTING MODS AND/OR TUNE+factory 2 3/8 rear exhaust flow=X hp............SUPPORTING MODS AND/OR TUNE+ported factory rear exhaust flow to 3inch=graderX hp................and that is why we want headers.

What? Baby talk me some more because I have no clue what that post meant. I am working on port matching the back header (bought another, drop this one in when I'm done). 3" will outflow 2.5" all day, no matter the size of the initial collector because the gases will acclerate and expand in 3" piping. Just because they left a merge that only flows 2 3/8in doesn't mean that it will flow ONLY 2 3/8in in a 3" pipe.

If you have an extra manifold NachoSS, can you prove this statement?
I call BS on the 2 3/8 outlet cause my stock down pipe inlet messures over 2 3/8" it's close to 3"

Davidgxp have you ever took off your DP and looked inside?? second have you ever looked and measured the rear manifold exhaust flow when DP was disconnected(inside2inside)? cause I did 2 3/8 is what the net flow is.............ps I use a measuring tape for a living.

(Nacho SS's theory of flow) Next time you wash your car and you get an hose kink somewhere 15-20ft away from your sprayer, you go head and run to your pump house and tune up your psi so when is squeezes thru 1/4 kink it will flow good again in the hose because the water will accelerate and expand in the 1" hosing. Just because it had a 1/4 kink flow doesn't mean that it will flow 1/4" in 1" hose................Thanx for playing.

Its a good thing water doesn't flow like exhaust gases do. When was the last time you were pushing water through your exhaust?
