I have a 2007 Impala SS with the 8 speaker BOSE 6 disc changer and XM radio.
When I hit the "EQ" (equalizer button) on the radio it filps between the equalizer mode "talk" and "manual". I was in an Equinox the other day, and when you hit the EQ button you get a bunch of equalizer options such as "pop", "rock", "talk", "Country", etc.
Is there some reason my radio only has two and all the other GM black tie radios I have seen have like 6 options? Is that just the way the bose system is in the Impala?
Thanks!

The Bose system does not contain the additional EQ settings, the only radio that does is the non-Bose system. So, with the Bose system you can only adjust or you have to adjust the BASS, MID and TREBLE manually. I hope this helps. I had the same question after the wife bought her 08 silverado LTZ with Bose and my 06 MCSS came without it.
