Default Cherry Bomb

has anybody thought about dropping the back half of the exhaust and bolting up a cherry bomb? i mean its gotta flow as good or better than any exhaust out there plus you lose all that muffler and tubing weight? is there any reason why that would throw a code?

It would probably sound better than stock but I woudn't do it cause they are poor quality in fact if you wanna go that route just buy the interchangable mufflers called loudmouth 2s from SLP offered under 2004 gto, got them on my car and they sound beatiful, they look like resanators their small and light weight and about 14 inches long by 5 inches in diameter and stainless steel quality.
