This thread is funny....you guys really have great dreams and aspirations....LOL!!!!

 

So here's my first kinda kill in here. So I'm heading south on Manhiem Rd. at the last light before I get onto 290, and there is a R32 (Volkswagen) in the middle lane, I'm in the right, (so I can exit in the next 800' or so) the light is red we're both sitting there and happen to look at each other at about the same time. We both kinda grin as to knowing whats gunna happen next when the light goes green. Him by himself, me with one of my carpooling buddies, light goes green, we both take off fairly easy till roughly 10MPH or so, side by side, we both hit it at the same time, its pretty even, till he grabs 2nd, WOW, the way he grabbed that shifter, I thought he totally ripped it outa the floor, but he fell behind by at least 1 car length easy as he shifted at about 1/2 of my first gear, LOL, and all was history. We ran outa room to run, and as it was, he slid in behind me onto 290W. We toyed around abit till the lanes split to an express lane which I took. All fun and games beside, it was a fun run, the only real fun run Ive had, I have no interest in runnin on the street, this was a short burst and actually I never exceeded 45 MPH, although the speed limit was 35 MPH, I really don't condone this activity, and usually only do this stuff on the track! There was nobody in-front of us, and nobody in danger!

WTF? Why does everyone have to take their fat steamy dump in this thread to make us feel bad. We are FWD....we already suck. Sorry we can't be awesome muscle cars. Leave us alone. We have no business but to worship any other car with a V8.

 

I tried worshipping muscle cars. It didn't work out well. Stupid tailpipe was still hot when I wrapped my lips around it.

 

Most of these people are just wannabe dreamers, they prefer a rwd for the racing potential that most will never realize.

cause we all know the reason we mod cars are to make them do wheelies..dumbass lol. Hell the car in the 2nd pic doesn't even have its rear wheels on the groud, meaning he can't even launch his high horse power car with traction, lifting a little is fine but you lose races when you lift that high. Not all of us only have FWD cars, i've been in the drag/street race screne my whole life, and my dad and uncle have been in it since the 60's. I still like beating people in my sleeper than my dads drag car, which is a ford Falcon lol ya let the hating begin lol

Doesn't matter what's under our hoods we'll never really get the respect of the LSx community. FWD does that. No point in getting all crazy about it. If letting us know how inferior we are makes them feel better about themselves then so be it.

On the street I've taken down: Very healthy 6- speed LT1 Camaro, 300C, Daytona Charger, modded Mustang SVO, A buddies 95' 350 SS Silverado stepside, a 91' Blazer with 350 and turbo 350 swap (his weakpoint was the tall rear-end) and a few L67/L32 cars.

I've lost to my buddies 2000 C5 (it was kinda close... then he sprayed on me) and another buddies turbo Civic hatch B18 with a little T25.

 

Guarantee your car can't do the that so either STFU or get outta here. Or both, thanks.

o yea i was bored last night so i visited their kill stories it just amazing that just "bolt on" camaros outrunning big blower and nitrous mustangs o and i read the best one last a supposed "stock ls1 camaro" out ran a new skyline from a dig now i know may of you may not like imports but i have witnessed a skyline run a 11.9 in the 1/4 before they shortend most tracks to 1000ft but yet every one on there yea man those cars are overrated nissan lied kill the rice all that stuff

 

There is **** everywhere but this thread is FULL of it.....it should be renamed "Septic tank stories...is front wheel drive the new gayness?"....

FWD is like a really hot girl without ****.....it makes you go, blah...
