e-testosterone flowing. Any ways I am glad to race any TB SS around the so cal area. I know there are a couple in simi valley. Hell I raced one in simi and we were dead even till 50 ( he shut down first). I thought they were fast... hmm just must be another myth about how our cars are slow
Welcome TBSS guys - just to let you know there is a group of us here that use these cars as D/D's that have F-Bodys and Vettes that will kick your TBSS's butts.
11.99 - Very good! We can blow by you guys a second later in the brake zone and make the turn around at the end of the 1/4 at twice the speed you can (without rolling). Now someone here has a Viper that can beat my car - I'm good with that too.
I lived in an area where all the people drove SUVs and minivans to one-up / impress the next door neighbor's fat assed wife. Never saw a use for SUV's or their big assed drivers, but to each his own.
I'm good for the mine's bigger than your's, but the ego **** bores me.

Now the MCSS has no real resale value - biotch!
As for the R/T comment, I have raced many R/T's and each time I've won. No fear there! I really like it when they're dubbed and tinted windows with loud exhaust, the look is priceless. I also raced an SRT8 for grins and wanted to see the gap, honestly, I got beat worst by the Jeep SRT. It wasn't until the higher MPH around 70-80 where the SRT8 pulled away by a car or car 1/2. This is from personal experience.
For the thread; I've raced a "stock" 06/07 GT and won, maybe driver mod, but if they start the race, its a kill no matter what color strips and wing they have on it. I raced the v6, yes v6 350Z, G35 2 door coupe (punk *** driver picking on other cars with loud music), G45, and new Infinity 2 door coupe, no problem. I have not raced any BMR's, EVO's, WRX, or Mercedes, most drivers are not interested in my area... I do not go looking for a race, and I try not to race any LS F-Body's, they are lighter and still more HP out of the box.
For you TBSS guys, FWD is a mother to launch and our best dig from my experience is around 20-25mph from a roll. It takes many launches to know where and how to drive these big *** cars because of the easy front wheel spin and torque steer they develop from 1K-3K. The guy driving the rented red IMSS in the video (good video by the way) spun way to much on the launch. He should have at least got 14.4-13.9 range with a good launch. Its not easy to launch a mid size FWD car cuz there is no traction. The R/T is RWD. I use my MCSS on the highway for work about 220 miles at times and in a one way direction, I avg about 25mpg when driving at 70 MPH or just +- at 2K. The real factor, I got this MCSS about 10K cheaper than the TBSS when I bought it new in 06. The dealer did not want to deal so I picked the MCSS.
I have my eye on the G8, test drove one, very nice DD with mods you can buy already!
Besides, no need slay us LS4 drivers, were driving a GM with an LSx motor. In my book, the picking order is usually ruled by HP and driver. TBSS=400, MC&IMPSS=304
