Boy oh boy what happened to the hot rod world...

Everyone has to talk rash about people's cars. You mod how you want to mod, and run what ever you have. All the haters and trash talkers in here need stop and think about why they are posting dribble about others.

Hot rodding/car customization is about modifying a car to suit your own personal tastes and needs, whether you start with a Honda civic, a trailblazer, an impala or an F-Body.

Once you buy the car you want you will always look to make it faster, and go race someone with each new part or addition.

I just hope you negative people only speak this way online, I pitty you if this is how you speak in the real world.

 

People really don't expect much from these Grand Prix's but you guys do know these cars have been down to as low as 13.6 stock, and the majority are 13.7-13.8. The guys running 14's either have crappy conditions or just have a little bit more learning to do. With the simple mods in my sig ive kept up with a high 12 second z28, he only put a car on me from 40-115. Now from a dig sure your TBSS takes these cars. Now i see the fellow above me ran 13.3 at 103.9, that tells me is that you guys rocket off the line but slow down once you get going compared to a LS4 that would runs a higher trap to get that E/T, we spin a lot. I admit though that the TBSS is an awesome vehicle, no need for bashing on either side. But to that video of the Impy SS running higher 14's earlier that is just awful driving, i had a 6 cylinder Grand Am that would hit those times with pretty simple bolt ons, that is not typical of these vehicles.

Um, some of us live in the snow belt and need daily drivers, but still want something GM, something powerful, but FWD. And did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, not everyone wants a TBSS? Like maybe it doesn't suit their needs? Put the ego down, guy, your stock TBSS may be quick, but it isn't THAT quick to justify all the attitude. Aren't we all GM supporters anyway?

I was thinking about getting a TBSS but idk if I want to know. If this is the crowd I would be associated with I just don't want it. Oh btw I raced a 07 3ss TBSS and pulled a 1.5 cars on him. Now if you think about it, your class is the SUV and you have a fast SUV. We are in the FWD coupe/sedan class and guess what... we are the best in our class. Our competition is accords, maximas, and so on. I just think these guys got a hurting on them from a FWD car and has been mad at them ever sense.

 

Look around, see how many guys are running 13's stock. At least get your facts straight in this case. Pull up next to me and ill show you 14 second car. You might win, but you won't win easy. But hey tell that to the 13 second Turbo Cobalt SS ive beaten. And that 12 second Z i raced, hes a member of this forum. Ignorance......

Edited my signature to add the two other cars I own (apparently a signature is limited to eight lines); I didn't realize some would miss the tongue-in-cheek approach of my previous one. I'm also a long-time member from my modded LS1 GTO days; however, I couldn't remember my old user name and password since it had been so long since I'd posted so I simply reregistered. I sold the GTO to get the Impy to replace the company car I lost when I was consolidated out my job a year or so ago. I use the Impy for business and I get many positive comments from my clients (spacious, classy). Also, when I park the Impy in the city or at the airport I know it's going to be there when I get back, unlike my Charger which recently made the list of the Top 10 vehicles that are stolen.

Corny-- the "4" came from a Lexus 400, then I carefully trimmed it with an Exacto knife and small file to get it to match the "LS" font as close as possible. From a few feet away you can't tell at all.

Norcal TBSS-- Are your two TB's AWD or 2WD? 11.9 at 112 is a pretty good hook; I wish CA Speedway in Fontana was that way. I miss Pamona...

Oh i took a look at the tbs kill section and lots of those kills are against civics and ricers so what the **** are you talking about. I love when i race people that think i have a stock ls4 which even if it was (which it isn't) and you knew how to drive it is a sub 14 second car.

So i guess everyone that doesn't have a lower then 13.5 in 1/4 shot just go shot themselves. Its like srt 8 guys talking **** to you cause they are a little bit faster, **** you are retards, i don't really care to much since you guys clearly needed an ego boost.

 

If you are referring to some arguments Ive had with SOME guys here, at least those own REAL cars, recognized either as true muscle cars (or pony cars) with heritage and honorable history among car enthusiasts.

I can have some arguments, and thats part of the game, but what can not be change (no matter how hard you try with this stupid thread) is that:

1) This thread is quite possibly the lamest most pathetic thread EVER in this site, possibly the whole internet.
2) More than half of the "kills" narrated here are filled with fiction and BS....not even details that could pinpoint the other car was even racing or against cars you could easily take over, even walking!
3) You own a POS...even if it is "fast" according to you. Boring, passionless cars with no heritage (vast majority of cases), totally forgettable, non relevant...and no, youre not special, you suck.... Just check your latest GM HPP magazine....."tons" of articles on how amazing they are.

But please, continue, you are quite a good source of entertainment...at least.
