Default Dyno... kinda dissappointing NEED HELP!

whoever can read dyno sheets well whats up with this it seems a little low dont ya think? i had my intake and just a glasspack for an exhaust i did remove the maf screen the dyno guy said that my pcm was adding too much fuel because the cat was getting hot. if i get suggestions before tomorrow i can probably go again so tell me what you think please! on the autocross coarse i did 27.5 sec as my best the best autocross time was 25.3 by a guy with a ls6 chevelle on the breaking test i stopped from 60 in 110 feet which was the best at the time so i might win that event. i just really want to try and get my dyno up if i can by tomorrow

thanks yeah thats true too bad the contest is max power does that look pretty normal though overall?

only 14000 i was kinda thinking that k and n may have picked kinda a factory freak (or just one of the better ones) when they did it to make their gain numbers better. i dont really know why it would be off by so much though 30 hp is kinda a lot has anybody else on the site hit a dyno?

i do have that loud glasspack on there could the knock sensor be picking up the extra noise as knock and retard timing and thats why the power band is so wavy?

Try putting the MAF screen back in. It is used to smooth out the air intake and can really screw up the fueling when it's out. Removing it on this app does nothing but cause problems. Over oiling the air filters can also mess up the MAF. I doubt this is your problem If you see excess oil in the MAF body you can get some electronics spray cleaner to remove the film from the MAF wires.

Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will reset the PCM so it can relearn the fueling. That process takes a little time and mileage.

thanks i took put in the stock airbox and exhaust and went again this morning the dyno read 250 max hp and 261 lbft the winner of the comp was a 2007 mustang cobra with a blower ran 800 hp at the wheels stopped from 60 in 117 feet and did the autocross in 26.2 seconds my 60-0 was better 110 feet but then ten minutes before the award ceremony the car craft guy said they re evaulated my numbers and changed it to 120 it was bullshit. i ran the autocross in 27.5 as my best. ill be in the magazine though at least so thats cool

your torque falls off very quickly and has a bunch of 'chop' in the curve at the top end. That screams valve float (or maybe the PCM is doing some torque limiting up there, if there was no TCM on the car, I would say for sure valve float).

it was the glasspack muffler im sure it flowed better but it shook around enough where the knock sensor was getting false readings and that f-ed up the timing unfortuneatly i could not dyno the second time with my intake installed because i melted one of the tubes during autocrosstwo days ago and had to go stock again but i did read 250 hp and 261 lbft on the dyno
