Supercharger yet?
Supercharger yet? I searched a little for a supercharger to bolt on top of the LS4 but could not find one.
I don't want a centrifugal type compressor. I do like the Magnuson SC. BUT $$$

A supercharger would be great, you would have to beef up the tranny too, but how would a roots type blower work on a horizontally opposed V8??
The LS4's intake manifold is flip flopped as it is, so the roots type would be tricky. One weird looking custom hood too....
Could a centrifugal supercharger work?? a lot less work and hassle....

Don't lots of the roots blowers have the throttle body opening on one side and the pulley on the opposite end? Like the GTP's and aren't the C5 corvette's like that as well? That would make it easy as our manifold is already flipped. Also, if the hood clears the intake along with the engine cover I think a blower would easily fit without the engine cover.

I honestly can't believe anyone with an auto would want a supercharger over a turbo. If ya don't know a turbo in an auto with a good stall will out perform a supercharger all day long, centrifugal, roots type, or screw type!

not so much of a which ones better for me i love turbo cars but it would be cool maybe for the people who dont wanna spend as much or make that much power to have the option of a blower
