LSX in a GP GXP fit?
Different bellhousing bolt pattern on the LSX will require an adapter to fit the transmission. This could take an inch or so of space. We have, at best, .75 inch clearance between the accessory drive and the strut tower. The LSX crank snout is another .4 of an inch longer than the LS4, so there will be issues with the accessory drive sticking out farther on the LSX.
You'd have to do some pretty careful measurements to see if the strut tower could be notched for clearance without interfering with suspension geometry.
I'm sure it can be shoehorned in because of this

LS6 in a 2001 grand prix GTP. Its mounted transverse to the 4t65hd

Pretty damn cool swap.
