Default LSX in a GP GXP fit?

I was just wondering will a LS4 power car take a LSX block. when my car is paid off I would like to look into it.

Probably not, but depending on your fabrication skills it may be possible.

Different bellhousing bolt pattern on the LSX will require an adapter to fit the transmission. This could take an inch or so of space. We have, at best, .75 inch clearance between the accessory drive and the strut tower. The LSX crank snout is another .4 of an inch longer than the LS4, so there will be issues with the accessory drive sticking out farther on the LSX.

You'd have to do some pretty careful measurements to see if the strut tower could be notched for clearance without interfering with suspension geometry.

Yeah our LS4 engine is 1 inch shorther than the LH6 in the 5.3L trucks. oh well 303HP is good tho.

If it ever got too much traction the entire car would flip forward.
