Miles are pretty good, but you can most definitely talk the price down. I got my 08 in late May for $18k with 16,000 miles. They also had a 07 in stock with 27k miles for $16.3K.

What will you be using the car for? Commuting? Family car? There isn't much aftermarket for them in terms of mods, its front wheel drive so you wouldn't expect much anyways. Overall I've been enjoying mine for about 8k miles on a daily and I've had no problems.

Honestly I love the car. Its a great DD, fast, brakes and handles well, and tons of room and options. Only issues I've has have been the ISS, Rack and O2 sensor.

What where the problems and when did they happen? Are they common problems?

The ISS is a common issue with these cars and many other gm's. You develop an annoying clunk in the steering as the ISS joint loosens up. I have a recent redesign and so far no re-occurring noise. The rack is a less common issue. Similar clunk sound. The O2 sensor for me seemed to be a one off thing. I don't know of anyone else having O2 sensor issues. Dealer said there was corrosion in the connection causing a CEL. All was replaced under warranty.

I've only had mine 4 days, but I like it so far. I paid $14.5 out the door for a fully loaded 05 GXP, 47k miles.

I'm REALLY missing my LS1 horsepower & RWD... but with 3 kids.. at least we all fit in 1 car now!

17k for an 06? i dont care how many miles it has, no way dude, you can get an 08 for that much with a good remainder of the warranty on it, unless its one of those dealerships that offers 100k 5 year warranty on used cars its not worth it, you probably got like 6 months on the warranty then your on your own, dont do it, you can find an 08 for 17, hell mine was 18-9 but i talked him down to 17-9

I wouldnt pay sticker dont worry. The warranty is 12m/12k miles. Which isnt to bad. That would even out since thats about what I put on my car a year. Im having trouble with KBB.com, anyone else?

Make sure you check out the interior of the car. I have an '08 which is 6 months old. I have already had the sunroof trim replaced, passenger seat recovered, and the HUD shroud replaced. If the interior looks like it is in good shape and doesn't rattle, you should be good to go. ENJOY!

What was wrong with your passenger seat? My driver seat when I got the car with 5k miles on the it was crackling pretty bad on the lower left. Got to love GM leather.
