LS6 Intake Manifold $300 shipped
I have for sale a LS6 intake manifold off on my 2001 c5. I had it taken off about a week ago.
The manifold needs new gaskets, which are just a few bucks. The area where the intake manifold meets the throttle body(where the orange gasket is located), is slightly warped, which why the manifold is only 300 bucks. The guy who originally installed it overtightened the bolts where the manifold meets the throttle body. Since the manifold is made out of composite plastic, it became slightly warped and caused an air leak. You can either sand the face down or just buy a tube of gasket maker and make a seal in the area between the manifold and throttle body.
Gotjuice? did the swap for me over on corvette forum, so perhaps he could come in here and reaffirm the slight warping the manifold had.
It is 300 dollars shipped OBO. I am located in Austin, but I am currently in Houston until early January. I can schedule a pickup or drop off as well if you live nearby.
