The Hydra-Matic 6L80 is a six-speed, clutch-to-clutch, rear-wheel drive, electronic-controlled transmissions that comes installed in this G8 GT. The planetary gear sets provide the six forward gear ratios and reverse. The changing gear ratios is fully automatic and is accomplished through the use of a Transmission Control Module (TCM) located inside the transmission. The TCM receives and monitors various electronic sensor inputs and uses this information to shift the transmission at the optimum time.
This G8 GT L76 Dropout also comes with the following features:
Driver Shift Control (DSC) — DSC allows the driver to manually shift gears, similar to a manual transmission. When the shift selector lever is moved to the DSC position, the driver may manually select upshifts or downshifts via the padles or buttons on the steering wheel.
Performance Algorithm Shifting (PAS) — PAS is a transmission algorithm that looks at lateral acceleration, throttle, and vehicle deceleration activity to determine if the vehicle is being driven in a competitive manner. If the algorithm recognizes these conditions, it can force downshifts and hold lower gears for optimized vehicle performance.
Performance Algorithm Lift Foot (PAL) — PAL minimizes upshifts during closed throttle driving and cornering to prevent unnecessary shifting.
FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR MORE HORSEPOWER OR BETTER GAS MILEAGE:
The G8 GT L76 engine runs on 87 octane gas to achieve its 361 horsepower, as it is. The LS3 and the L76 have all most identical heads. The L76 has lower compresion, which would be the better boost candidate. If you are looking for LS2/LS3 400+ horsepower, a simple retune to Premium 91 octane or 93 octane would put you over 400HP. Also, The G8 GT 362HP L76 has a better HP potential than the 400HP LS2 due to the L92 heads.

Center console assembly from a Trans Am. This item was specifically removed from a 2001 Trans Am with 6 speed transmission. The console is black or GM Ebony in color. It is going to fit 97-02 Firebirds, Trans Am, and Camaros. It may fit other models but please check with your dealer on custom applications. Also please ask any and all questions before buying.
Condition: As you can see from the pictures this item is in used condition. It was removed from a car with low mileage but does show signs of wear. There are cosmetic marks on the console which are pictured. There is no structural damage to this console. Please judge all photos for yourself before buying. This item will come as pictured.

Hey tom, I just spoke to you about the torque arm mount...just wanted to get a post in here about it so you will put one aside for me
do u have a lq4 or lq9 shortblock
I basically need the plugs and a bit of wire behind it....I dont have a fbody so dont need the whole harness.
Do you have any LT1 (93-97) camaro fog lights with mounting brackets in decent condition?
