Sorry to hear about this man. Sounds like you got by this crook. I had the same thing happen to me about a year ago on some Bogarts. I hope you get this resolved, as it took me about 3 months to get my money back.

Did you send the money through paypal? If so you need to contact your credit card/bank to notify them about this. They will file charges also.

i know what its like to get fuked over.. im out 500 on a block that was shipped SEVERAL weeks later after a huge met, and it shows up with a cracked sleeve.

 

Spectre, yea, he is online right now.. Flash has called both myself, and the guy that bought the headlights on the vette forums... He stated that tomorrow is the day, and that he WILL make things right... we shall see... if so, good for both he and I!!!

 

Sorry just checked this thread. I apologize to Brad for the motor and this incident some things were beyond my control but as stated making a collect call wasnt so I should have stayed better in communication. To make things right, I included all the accessorys for the motor ($900 value) with the motor, and I'm getting it transported to Conway today for shipment. There were alot of things that were not under my control, and I did PM as much as possible to let him know the status. Anyways things are all cleared up, and this can be put behind everyone.

Well, I am glad to be rapping this up. I know it is technically not over until the engine arrives, but I am glad a relieved that it turned out good.

Flash, I know this month has thrown us both a few curve *****. If you had known me personally, you would know that I have a very short fuse....and I have very little patience... This has tested both!! In todays world, it is so easy to get screwed, and sometimes it feels like there are no good people left. I admit, I am still sore about the whole ordeal.. BUT, you have made steps to make it right. That is AWESOME! Thanks.

I have tried to keep it civil on the forum, as I did not know if what you were telling me was the truth. I wanted to believe you, but the other part of me kept on kicking my *** and saying " I am getting screwed!!"

I will say this, all is good if the engine arrives, and is not a pallet of rocks ( instead of an engine)..LOL

Would I do business with Flash again......... Hmmm, Yea, I think I would.. BUT I would only pay with a credit card or PayPal or some other form of payment where I could get a refund if things went South. I have learned from this as well...

So, hopefully the engine will be here soon, and I can get on with my project. Flash, as far as the $100 refund.. keep it... you said you can get cams, etc close to cost.... maybe when I am ready to upgrade, I will give you a call?

Wow..... what a sale..... yes bunch of issues enough to make your butthole pucker. This motor was at a amazing price to begin with and now it comes will everything as a whole pull out. The buyer got a hell of a deal ....nevermind the headache and worry. Glad to see a resolution.

 

Ok, I got the engine today.. picked it up form Conway Freight. Got it to my house. Everything looks good.

Flash, I know this has been an ordeal for both of us. I want to thank you for following through on your end. You even threw in the accessories for free for all the trouble.... that was cool. You stood by your word, and that is VERY cool!!!

Now that I have the engine, and the deal is complete, I want to let others know, that sometimes things do come up, but its how both parties handle it... that helps out in the long run... Flash made it right...and thats what matters!!!!!

and one thing is for sure.. I have learned to have a bit more patience...
