Default K&N FIPK II w/ Carbon Fiber Trim

Decided to go to a normal lid setup, so this came off. I just cleaned and oiled it, so it's ready to go. There's a hole in the bottom of the coupling attached to the filter where I ran my dry shot, if you didn't have nitrous, you could plug or tape it with about anything, as it's on the bottom and out of sight. I've also included a few miscellaneous pieces of carbon fiber that I cut to lay on top of the tray, obviously you wouldn't have to use them. Everything required to mount is included, though you'll have to reuse your hardware and clamps from your stock or aftermarket setup. These things sell for $400 new, I'd like to get $140 + shipping for it. I may also be interested in trading for a carbon fiber lid or clear lid plus a little cash.

The argument against this system has always been that it sucks in hot air from the engine compartment, but a little bit of logic tells you that this only happens while you're sitting still at idle, and when actually moving, it's tough to argue that this doesn't have the ability to flow more CFM.

All PMs responded to, uploading pics of the hole I used for nitrous now, as I said, it would be easy to plug/cover since it's on the bottom and out of sight. Lots of interest so far...

Not to jack but you did what I did with mine and cut a hole in the bottom for more airflow. Very nice and good price! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks! I cut out the hole for more airflow, then notched it a little more so I could run the nitrous line between the radiators and up into the intake tubing, 100% stealth! I like this setup, but I wanted to use a lid to help uniform the engine bay. Thanks for the compliments!
