Default New Flowtech inductions Street Sweeper Cam

Brand new. Installed but never ran. It was installed in a brand new LQ9 shortblock. I thought I could use it but it's a N/A cam and I'm running a twin turbo kit. The shop that installed said it was never ran. Definetely looks brand new.
I got the specs from Ed Curtis. It is a N/A cam for an mildly aggressive daily driver. Specs listed below.

228/232 614/600 lift. 111 lobe seperation. 108 lobe centerline

Flowtech Inductions LS1 cams run $450 + shipping. SOLD

Valve Adjustment: .000” .000”
Lobe Lift: .361” .353”
Gross Valve Lift 1.70 Ratio: .614” .600”

Specs at 108 Degree Intake Centerline:

Degree this camshaft using the specs provided on this sheet. The asymmetrical design of these lobes may not allow for accurate reading using the centerline method
This camshaft is designed for street/strip, naturally aspirated applications
CHECK and verify rocker arm geometry and lifter preload
This is imperative for optimum performance of this camshaft
The power band is “roughly” between 2500 to 6600 rpm for 346-355 CID
The power band is “roughly” between 2200 to 6300 rpm for 364-383 CID
Gear the vehicle accordingly
The preferred valve spring pressure is 135# -140# on the seat
Use only quality valve springs with titanium retainers and hardened locks
PAC Racing 1518 beehive, 1221 dual springs or equivalent springs required
Hardened, heavy wall push rods required for valvetrain stability
It is highly recommended to use high flow, high performance cylinder heads
Large diameter, long tube headers and free flowing exhaust mandatory
Lubricants with a high zinc content required for long-term endurance
It is highly recommended to check and verify piston to valve clearance
Failure to do so may result in serious cylinder head and engine damage

thanks, Rick

It's actually not a bad DD camshaft. Had one in my GTO with a 6 speed. Was awsome. Made great power up top, and mantained low RPM tourqe. Swapped mine for a blower grind for a Pro Charger. But it's a great cam grind.

Thanks for the plug. It looks like the Flowtech Induction cams have a pretty big following on the LS1GTO.com. I found a link to New Era's dyno run with this exact cam in a 2006 GTO. They picked up 80whp with the cam and headers.

1)Stock baseline run 329whp/337wtq
2)Headers, SS-HT Cam, SLP Catted Headers 409whp/386wtq
3)Heads and FAST 92 intake 452whp/434wtq

"This is with Ed's SSHT (228/232) cam and ET 215 CC heads with an unported FAST 92 intake , the choker is that it has SLP headers with cats but it is a well matched street combo , the below graph shows when we dynoed it stock (with borla exhaust) and then added the SSHT cam with full bolt ons , then when we added the ET 215 cc heads with the FAST 92 intake."
