Default GM OEM SS hood - RED

For sale is a OEM GM SS hood of a red 2002 Camaro SS. The car had 28,300 miles on it when it was put in a ditch and totaled. I bought the hood of the guy since the hood was in great shape. The only damage the hood suffered during the crash is a small crack in the paint witch I have many pictures of. The crack only is in the paint and not the fiberglass of the hood and does not go through to the other side. The hood also has scuff marks on the sides from sitting and being moved but it is just in the paint. NO CONNERS ARE CHIPPED and this hood comes with the latch (everything in the pictures). Hood has been sitting since late 2004. The black insert is just a sticker also.

I put the hood on my HO Z28 and it lines up 100% perfict. It obviously needs a paint job to be mint but is a very nice hood. Any questions just ask. I live in South Lyon, MI 48178

I am asking $700 not including shipping. That is OBO but no low ballers, I know what these hoods are worth and how hard it is to find one like this.

I wasn't going to say anything since it's worth as much as someone will pay. . . BUT, normally OEM SS hoods in GREAT condition go for about 5-600. Damaged usually 300 or so... Just to let you know why this hasn't sold yet.

was thinking the same thing... and you can get a brand new OEM SS hood for about $1,000

yeah probably...they typically go for about $600 with no damage...if it was the right color for your car with no damage for 500 it was a good deal, good price either way really

700 seems a little high since it would need a paint job plus that not including shipping id do about 400-500 for that hood not including shipping but free bump

I was offered 700$ shipped to Texas and did not take it. I guess if no one wants it for 700$ not shipped by the end of the week it will get painted and put on my car.

Default camaro hood

I was wondering if you would take 600.00 plus the shipping for the hood. I have a 1999 Z28 that I am turning into a LSX with ss spoiler and I would like to have your hood if it is in the shape you say it is in.Please let me know. I am ready to negotiate asap.
thanks,
terrierye
