these are forged pistons, not cast like stock pistons.
They are also set up to have the same deck height in tehblock as stock pistons...
With that said, I do not see any reason why they could not handle at LEAST the same amount of nitrous but MOST LIKELY more. With proper tuning combustion chamber size ( decided if you shave the heads or not), I would say even MORE than the stock set-up.
Add this set-up to an LSX iron block for and you have one killer short block for under $5,500 that you could not duplicate for less than $8,000 if you did the work yourself.

I like this setup too. The titanium rods even out the increased reciprocating weight of the larger pistons as opposed to an all forged steel assembly. This rotating assembly would straight rock in a street racer. Bump for a killer assembly.

Edit: thanks for the kind words guys. If my original block didn't shift liners this assembly would not be for sale. All has been corrected with M.I.D. liners

actually, compared to a stock LS7..the ti rods weigh the same. the 4.185 pistons are lighter than the stock LS7 cast pistons and the crank is 11 lbs lighter than a stock LS7 crank.......spin monster.

This is a steal !! I have built about 10 454lsx engines and all cost over $8500 with lesser parts ? These parts are some of the best and in a LSX block will easily handle 250 nitrous with the correct tune. This is a recipe for anyone wanting a 600+ rwhp engine or 9 seconds pump gasser.

thanks for the kind words guys. If the Darton resleaved LS7 block would have held together this assembly would not be for sale. I'd HIGHLY rec: that anyone considering this bore & stroke ( or this assembly for that matter) run it in an LSX block.
I've been down the Darton liner route and sleave shift= coolant leaks for me.

all PM's replied to....
this would make a great 441 cu in rotating assembly with pistons of your choice. rods accept standard .927 chevy small block pin diameter.

I will be selling this rotating assembly as a package deal with the LS7 block it came out of . The original installer is updating it to the M.I.D. system. The block will be shipped with a decked surface, but no clearancing or final bore/hone. It already has ARP main studs and has been line honed. This allows any potential buyer to machine/assemble it as they like. more to come....
