I just got my LQ9 longblock from 427LS1. It was shipped very well, on a pallet with good bracing. It seems in very good condition, I bought it as a rebuildable core but it looks like you could drop it right in. If you need anythink he's got, buy with confidence.

I am trying to get an idea on pricing for a build I am looking at. How much would a guy expect to pay for a bare LS1 block? Do you mag them, too?

Bare LS1 blocks run $300-400, I don't mag them but do examine the cylinders closely, usually you can tell then they are cracked, You will have to check with our local builder much they will charge for a build up, it varies greatly, check with some shop that are very well versed in the LS1's. I can supply built short blocks if needed to any spec or desired component used. Thanks Dave

Dave, I was just wondering what your contact info was, ie phone number. I have your email but that is about all. Was also wondering when you were ready to send the LS2 block I asked about before.
