Default 481 inch Alcohol Big Block F/S

Hey ya'll,

Good friend of mine has a Chevrolet Big Block, 481 on alcohol. Complete motor with low runs and in nice shape. He purchased a 632 with 2 stage NOS so he needs to sell the 481. Motor dyno'd at 700 HP.

I'm not sure of all the details, just that he is asking a ridiculosly low 4000.00 for the complete motor.

Guy is very reputable and is the owner of a body shop in Arlington, TX.

If your interested, PM me and I'll get you a phone number.

Thanks,
Kev

hey man.......

sure that dyno # is correct? 481 ci BBC on alcohol, and only make 700hp?!?!?! maybe that's why he's only asking 4g's. just a thought, why don't you include a bit of info and exactly what the motor includes, as well as how many passes are on it.

later,
Dave

Too the above posts;

I called and spoke to the owner: Scott Clark. Scott advised he had purchased the motor in a Pro Mod car and had limited info. on it. He did say it is accompanied by a dyno sheet showing 706 HP...he did not elaborate on TQ, RPM, etc,..
He did advise the car ( 2550 lbs) ran 5.70's with this motor consistently. As far as I know, he only had the motor in the car for 4 weekends of racing up @ Denton and in Kennedale.
Best bet for those interested, is to contact Scott direct @ (817) 683-3900. He did say he has the motor advertised on a racing web site and it can be viewed there. I didn't have time to take a look so again, best bet is too call him direct.
Hope this helps,

Kev
