Thumbs up Darton 445 inch Shortblock FS

I current have one Darton Sleeved 445 cubic inch LS1 shortblock with custom Wiseco pistons that are 11-11.5 to one depending on the heads that might be used. This shortblock is ready and already blue printed, balanced and assembled! Basically the guy that bought it has backed out of this deal and I need to sell the short or long block now. It is a 4.155 bore with a 4.100 stroke Eagle 4340 steel crank with Callies rods. It could be a nice 550-600 RWHP daily driver or 600-700 hp race engine. It is ready to go to whoever is interested and I will include free shipping for 6950.00.

I also have a set of LS6 type heads that go 350 cfm to go on this engine that I would make a deal on as a package as well as a FAST 90mm manifold. We have done some similar engines slightly smaller that made 560+RWHP on hydraulic roller cams and pump gas with the FAST 90 manifold and heads like this. With a larger or solid roller cam you could make more.

This block is from Steve at Race Engine Design who is also a sponsor and one of the developers of the Darton engines. Email me directly at erik@horsepowerengineering.com and I will get you any info you need. Thanks!

Yes, it's actually a 4.155 bore by 4.100 stroke or .030 bigger than the way most of these blocks are done. I think it is now sold however.
