turbo motor and rebuilt 6 spd for sale I am posting for a friend of mine who is on tech alot, but doesnt post much. He is selling a built motor and a built transmission, would perfer a local/driving distance sale so we dont have to deal with packaging and shipping freight. Would also perfer to sale as a package but would seperate if we have a buyer for both items.
Motor:
4.8/5.3 iron block bored to a 3.905 bore, 0 deck
Diamond standard off the shelf boost piston (-8.6cc), tops and shirts coated
File fit diamond rings
Eagle Ls1 rods 6.1' with 8740 series bolts
Stock crank polished
Coated mains bearings
Coated rod bearings
Arp mainstuds
Cloyes hex adjust timing chain
In house ported oil pump
Stock cam
8-1 compression
Arp 12 pt head studs
Cometic headgaskets
317 casting 6.0l heads done by tea, everything done except portwork, they have springs, retainers, new seals, seat, valvejob, and they are o-ringed.

This motor was machined and assembled by Dale at Launch1motorsports locally. He does really good work around here and is very meticulous about is work. Many of his ls1 turbo built motors have made 700+ rwhp and have outlived the set-ups. This motor made 704 and 800 torque and was taken apart to replace bearing and put new rings in it to be able to sale it.The owner is going to a much more powerful set-up(1500 crank hp) and is wanting to start with a motor that will handle the the abuse. He is asking $3500 for the motor alone plus shipping or will meet within decent driving distance.
Transmission:
t-56 with about 60,000 miles
freshly rebuilt with rebuild kit from d&d and added the steel shift fork
Transmission whined sightly before rebuild and hasnt been run since it was rebuilt
Come with Spec stage 4 clutch that has about 6,000 miles on it, still held good and havent had any problems
Stock flywheel
stock bellhousing
Upgrade master and slave
m6 crossmember
Asking $1500 for everything above plus shipping or will meet within decent driving distance.
Or asking $5000 for everything together, turbo built motor and rebuilt t-56. Will ship anywhere for $5600.
