I'm sure you could get away with stock mounts, etc when using an LS6 style manifold. But we know it fits the way it sits. No promises if you move the motor i would guess.
The carb manifold does compliment the cam's powerband.

Yes Levi, but also keep in mind that the entire kit was built off of the engine in its lowered position. That means the turbos, piping, intercooler, etc... all line up with the lowered engine. You would probably have to use his modified K-member to make sure everything lined up properly.
