Default LT1 AFR Head/Cam/Single Plane Stroker Top End for Sale

Well lets start out with the story on this setup.

I have a top end setup for a customer here and he has fallen into some REALLY bad luck. The place that was doing the work on his car pulled the all too common steal parts and split routine. Basically all he has now is his car without a driveline or any of his aftermarket parts. By his guess over $30k worth of parts and work GONE. The 396 is gone, tranny gone, nitrous stuff etc…. is all gone. So his head, cam and intake setup is pretty much useless to him and since it’s still sitting at my shop he still has it.

This stuff has never been run or even delivered to a customer. He has it fully paid for but since he can’t use it now I’m putting it up for him since I can describe it the best and fully answer all the questions.

Here is the setup (SOLD TOGETHER)

HEADS

AFR 210 LT4 bare castings

Meaux Racing Heads “Stage 3” Porting
Consists of: Serdi 5 angle Intake / Radius Exhaust seats,

Ferrea 6000 Series 2.125” / 1.625” valves

Comp Beehive Springs, Ti Retainers, Machined Locks, Spring Seat Locators and Viton valve seals.

Here is the data report on the heads from Larry Meaux @ Meaux Racing Heads

They were flowing 304cfm on his bench before all the milling, the milling
cuts into the valve seat and hurts flow because of that. The
chambers ended up being 81cc before milling so there was a lot of work to
get them down to size. Normally I see much higher numbers on my bench
compared to his which is always good to see. Last set I had from him flowed
285.8cfm @ .600 on his bench and 307cfm @ .600 on mine just to give you an example.

I would expect these to flow 310cfm on almost any bench which is impressive at 207cc volume. Larry Meaux does some impressive work, it’s all hand ported but the ports are extremely consistant. He also does work for Alan Futral, and has 28 NHRA National Records to his credit since 1983. If you want to see more of the cars and records of his work go here http://www.maxracesoftware.com/race_car_pictures.htm

I can also direct you to numerous places showing more results of his work as well, this isin't a guy that you go to just for flow numbers. So if they don't look high enough to you then go someplace else for your heads.

CAM

Custom Matched Hyd Roller Camshaft to heads and intake for any flat top headed stroked LT1 (11.5-12.5:1 SCR) HP peak at 6400rpm with 13-14” of vacuum for good drivability. Of course the specs aren’t disclosed

INTAKE

Edelbrock Super Victor SBC Casting
Converted to LT1 bolt pattern (with these angle milled heads)
In house CNC machined Injector bungs
Intake was port matched and plenum ported to match heads
Also includes Fuel Rails

Total Cost to replicate the whole setup is $4,850

Heads $ 3,450
Intake $ 1,100
Cam $ 300

The package should easily do 575hp SAE and over 500 ft lbs of TQ SAE on a 383-396 with 11.5 or better compression.

Still working out the details on how much he wants for it but it’s a hell of a setup for a street car. Right now I have a offer of $3,500 and the customers comment on it "**** for that money for the whole package I’ll keep it and put it on the wife’s Yukon!"

for the package so don't bother if you aren't going that much.

Please contact me if you are interested. I'm not going to allow this setup to be parted out, it just doesn't make any sense to do that since it's value is as a complete kit.

To finish the setup off you would need a throttle body setup for it, fuel lines, 1.6 Rocker Arms, 7/16 studs and pushrods. I’d probably run some good lifters like Morel’s as well. I also have the AFR guideplates for it.
