It is painted black (cost me $400) and the hood new was $695
$650 shipped. If i had a black car , i may pay $900-1000. But with me having to get it repainted , i will offer no more than what a USED hood would cost.

im sorry but 1k is alil to high if u ask me. my friend got one brand new for like $650 shipped. and i saw one on ebay about a week ago and it was like $750ish, u just have to do some surching and u can find a good deal. oh and by the way "ramairtony" there was a guy that was making them then he quit like a year ago or so, and then some other guy started making them again.

To clear up some misconceptions:
If this is a US EXOTICS WS9 hood, and the paint job is done right, it is worth every penny of $1000 to a person with a black car. I agree though it's a shitty deal for someone with any other color. To get this hood painted properly top and bottom (unless you know someone who paints) will cost you $400-$500. Since the hood itself goes for $695, that means you are looking at $1100 minimum in value (assuming the paint is still excellent and there is no damage to the hood at all). Consider also that Roger is out of the f-car business and is no longer producing these hoods. The new ones (by VFN) are not hand-made one at a time from what I understand. I have the very same hood, an original, hand made by Roger. The quality of his hoods is unmatched. Ask anyone who has an original US Exotics hood, they'll tell you the same. So basically this is a very rare, very high quality hood, and if in excellent condition, with excellent paint, I don't see how $1000 is too much.

I have one of these hoods.....it is an AWESOME hood!!!! and just to let u know Roger is currently making the hoods again for a short time, he said he had some down time between vioer products.....he has one on ebay once in awhile also

The price is right on. If I had to sell mine that is exactly what I would have to ask. Spent $450 on the paint job, and I believe it was $650 shipped or $695 when I got in on the GP...but I doubt I'd be able to find anyone with a SGM TA :p
