Default 2002 LS6 short block

After much thought I have decided to go with a LS2 based 402. Here is what I have: $1200.00 OBO

1. LS6 block, hot tanked and honed (standard). This engine had less than 18K miles.

2. 2 crankshafts (standard, standard).

3. Original rods and pistons.

4. Front/rear covers and LS6 valley cover (not pictured).

5. Used ARP head studs (not pictured).

6. Brand new rings set (I have to check what I have).

7. Bearing set (I have to check what I have).

I really rather not ship these, especially that this is unassembled. Just one of the the cranks weigh around 50-60 LBS. Just the packing would be a nightmare. Unless you have a better way to ship it......................

Hello,
Im a newbie to the LS1 world. Are your items enough to build the bottom end or do they not match. What heads would match ( castings or years or aftermarket). I am in CT and could drive down.
thanks
Rich

1. You would need a oil pan and pick up.

2. cam and timing set.

3. oil pump.

4. roller lifters and retainers.

5. crank balancer

6. main bolts (the OEM are torque to yield, one time use).

7. All related gaskets.

As far as the stock heads, 241 (LS1) or 243 (lS6) would fit as well as any after market products (Dart, AFR, QTP, RHS etc.....).

This list would get you a complete short block. I'm driving to Ft Lee, NJ this weekend (Sat) if you want to pick it up there.
