Actually, I balanced the front 2 wheels yesterday with Nitto 275/40/17s- one took 1.75 oz total weight, and one took .50 oz. total weight. I don't know about you, but thats a pretty good balance in my book. As far as "mounting the weights on the face..." any tire shop that has updated their equipment since the '50s should be able to dynamically balance any wheel with stick on weights hidden behind the spokes. We have the machine for it, and I work at a Ford dealership, not a tire shop. Not trying to make anyone mad, just informing everyone who was thinking about getting these wheels. I had no problems whatsoever with mine.
