Default 00' HP tuners Enhanced version

I got HP tuners for my 00' WS6 Trans am about 4 months ago and once I finally got my car back together and running, I sent my PCM to thunder racing to get a mail order tune. They tuned it with EFI live and it's not compatible with my HPtuners so I have to sell my HPtuners to get EFIlive now. It's only been used once, just to find out it wouldn't work. It still has all the other credits on it though. I'm asking $500 shipped to the lower 48 with all the cables and software. This is the enhanced version so my loss is your gain. PM me.

Not trying to hijack but.....there is no reason HPTuners shouldn't work now. Your PCM is still the same. Hook up HPTuners, read the PCM, and go about your tuning. Doesn't matter what program was used to tune it before.

Thunder racing loaded a custom 3 bar operating system onto the PCM and when I tried to scan the PCM it said no vehicle license. I contacted HPtuners and they said Thunder locked my PCM. I contacted thunder and they said no locky the PCM but the operating system wasn't compatible with my HPtuners software. If my HP tuners will work for me, I'd love to keep it, but if it's not, then I gotta get something that will.

So it's brand new w/ all 8 credits on it?? Very intestest for $500 shipped and it's the more expensive version.... I have an 01 T/A, but the year doesn't matter if you haven't used it, correct?

It is licensed to a 00' Trans am. You have to send them your vin number for them to lock the cable to your car and year. I believe it only works on 00' year group cars, but I might be mistaken.

I emailed HP Tuners to see what they have to say. I was looking at there website and it doesn't say anything about locking the cable to only a certain year. As long as there are credits left on the software you should be able to tune a car for 2 credits. When it asks for a license activation how many credits are left??

Stand by... A guy from the HPtuners forum just emailed me and said if I got thunder Racing to flash my PCM, which they said they would do, then he would help me tune the car. It looks like I'll be holding onto my hptuners for a little while. Sorry guys, this ones off the market for now.
