you might want to let everyone know that extensive machine work would be required and some "non" shelf parts would probably be required also. might also consider getting it checked by a reputable machine shop and have them varify that it isn't cracked or anything more serious.

Why is it that Callies offers 1.888-2.100 rod journals for ls1's, so are these cranks "risky ventures" ??

its not, he is thinking your still going to be using 2.100 rods, but you would need small journal rod 2.000, so in fact the bearrings will be smaller

this would make an offset stroke set up? 2.00" rod journal on a ls1 with this crank will bring displacement up to 385ci?

I did not ask if this could be done, guess it depends what offset you want, and yes displacement would be 385
