Most people dont have a lot of drivers side problems, perhaps you need to lubricate your regulator arms and your window tracks.

We are currently installing this kit(blinker kit) on a 98 honda accord (rear lights) and a 70 Chevy Nova (Frt& Rear). This kit can be a universal fix for most late 90's vechicles and so far the interest is 50/50.
The Drivers side window method is being explored and we should write up about it soon. Glad to hear feedback, thanks guys!

Under normal conditions yes the kit fixes this problem. As long as you don't have a problem with your track and it is the motor then the kit will fix it. When it stops can you wait a minute or so and then it will roll up some more?

Then the kit should remedy your problem. A new motor should not have this problem that quick usually. I would be confident in telling you the kit will fix this though.

I gave this a shot today with one bum hand and I have a problem. Relay 1 clicks when I press the up button, and relay 2 clicks when I press the down button, but the window doesn't move (currently down). Now, due to problems loosening the ground & positive posts for the eyelets, I have the eyelets hung on the posts without being tightened down just to test. I figure that if the relays are clicking though, the eyelets must be making contact...?
I already compared the drawing, and things are wired per the diagram. I had some issues crimping with my hand, so a pair of the connections are twist-tied and wrapped with electrical tape. Should I break out the multimeter?

Question for Autotrix:
What do you think causes the motors to go out in the first place?
Last time I changed one I noticed that the plastic insert for the wires was not sealed into the metal housing so I was thinking water would get into the motor area and maybe over time it would weaken the electrical components. Maybe even cause a short.

The brushes in the motor wear out, resistance increases due to this, next comes heat, then more resistance, and finally the circuit breaker blows!
Having dirty tracks, and an under powered motor only adds to this effect.
