I have a friends shop where we would do the teardown and what ever else we needed. I was willing to pay for shipping just take it to frieght liner or where ever we find out let them put strap it to a palet and truck it over to my frinds shop.
If it falls through let me know and call one of the local places see what they would charge to send it to 76180 Zip FW, TX.
Call if you need to 817-917-2354

Here is more details to why the deal went south...........
I did not think that this problem existed on this particular engine/trans, as I had a few, but there is a small hole in the case of the trans. It is just about the size of a penny. It is a clean hole, and no cracks around it. Apparently the guy who pulled it out of the truck, said he had punctured it. Anyway, please review the pics to see the exterior of the engine and trans.
PM me if you are seriously interested in buying this unit as you see it! Thank you!

I am discussing it my trans guy now.
Have you tried to rotate the engine? I put my number and zip on earlier post to find out costs for shipping. Call me and talk to me.

IMO, that hole did not happen until after the water damage had already been done to the truck if it was caused by whomever when they were pulling it, so there should still be nothing but shiny red tranny fluid floating around in there. It should be 100% fine no doubt. If you go to ship, try Uship like I said before.

Actually the hole is right in the bellhousing portion..........no hole directly into the fluid path. So all of the internals should be untouched. period.
