BUILT 4L60-E and LIKE NEW TCI 242937 SSF CONVERTER I have a 4L60-E from a 2004 GTO with 14,000 miles for sale. When I pulled it apart the only wrong was a broken front pump. I completely rebuilt it upgrading everything anticipating switching my car to an A4. Selling now and sticking with the 6spd. It is fully built and has every upgrade except billet input/output shafts. Never even had fluid in it since complete rebuild. DETAILS BELOW.
The TCI 242937 converter is basically new in the box. Completely rebuilt with new hub, updated carbon clutches, 3500 stall, it has the billet front cover and balloon plate and is the best TCI converter you can buy for an LS1 car. It is restamped 242939 because of the updated newer internals. Any questions feel free to contact Kevin Winstead @ TCI about it.
I will separate the converter and trans or sell together. Pickup would be prefered but I will ship at buyers expense. Remember this trans has bellhousing and tailshaft housing and of course NO CORE.
4L60-E:
All new clutches including Alto Red Eagle 9 clutch 3-4 clutch pack.
Wide Carbon Fiber 2-4 Band.
Billet 2nd and 4th band apply servos.
Billet pinless accumulators in valve body.
TransGo HD2 Shift kit.
Beast Sunshell
Borg Warner 29 element Sprag
Fluid modification to front and rear planetary sets
Derale Pan
ASKING $1950 OBO without converter. $2,450 with converter.
ASKING $675 SHIPPED for converter only.
