4L65E freshly rebuilt with updates 4L65E out of an '05 Pontiac GTO, freshly rebuilt with zero miles since rebuild. Rebuild was done by Top Gear Motorsports in Mesa, AZ. This transmission will work in an F-body also, I will just need to swap out the shifter shaft, no big deal. Here is a list of stuff that has been done.
- All new Borg Warner clutches and steels
- Kolene steels for the overun clutch set
- Borg Warner 87-later wide Low/Roller
- Borg Warner 29 element dual cage input sprag
- New reverse/input housing
- Corvette 2nd gear servo (original)
- New GM seperator plate
- Transgo PWM valve to convert lockup to on/off
- Sonnax high rev pump slide spring and hardened pump rings
- Sonnax .490" boost valve
- Raybestos Z-pak 3-4 clutch pack
- "The Beast" sun shell
Asking $1000 obo. Comes with 12 month unlimited mileage warranty.
I will also include a brand new, never used Hughes 12" 2500 lockup converter for an extra $150.
