What did the engine come out of? What year model is the engine? Is it an iron block or an aluminum block?

05 GTO and its an Aluminum block. all LS2's are aluminum blocks

They do make iron blocks they are short blocks though I didnt know if you had pulled it out of something or if you built it yourself.. You can get the iron block from weber I believe..

Does it come with the MTI X1 Cam or did you put the stock cam back in it after you had pulled it?
