MSD Ignition unit LS1 for sale I'm selling my Edelbrock/msd LS1 ignition timing module (similar to MSD 6010 unit). comes with 6 timing pills and the wiring loom to hook up to the stock cam/crank sensors and coil packs, with the correct multiplugs on the loom ends to hook straight up. it is suitable for ls1s etc to run with a carb and get rid of the stock ecu/injectors.
as new, used once, i'm going for the fully programmable ignition unit instead as i need to adjust the timing to suit UK fuel. (its set up for US reg fuel.)
this unit has a choice of 6 timing pill curves but is not self mappable with pro data software.
my ls1 (stock plus mild cam) made 404bhp and 385ft/lb at the hubs on this setup with pill No1 and a 220/220 degree cam. i wanted to get more out of my car with a mappable system in future. i have the pdf file from MSD showing the various timing curves for pills 1-6 if required plus the hook up install info (dead easy). comes with map sensor also for economy /part throttle/light load adjustment.
i'm based in the uk but will ship to the US if someone gets v close to my
$200 ono price.
