I bought this motor locally as I was looking to buy a Mustang to put it in but I am now selling my house so no projects, I need everything gone... Came out of a 2004 GTO a couple months ago as he is putting in a 408. Car had under 10K miles on it. It's a LS6 block (casting 12561168) and has stock 241 heads. Has a TR Cam 224/227 114+3 .566 Int .572 Exh installed already.
I got it with the heads off since he was planning on just doing heads but then went or the 408. I easily cleaned the carbon off and the pistons look practically like new (as they should). As you can see in the pic I have new head gaskets and do prefer to sell the motor as a lognblock to get rid of everything. I have a front and rear cover, 5.3 truck valve covers to with it. Will come with brand new 7.4" hardened pushrods.
$2100 OBO
