Had my covers off my car is a 93 thats the owner said it was rebuilt. Well it has the 94-96 cylinders are they any different from the 93 heads. Casting number was 10207483 on the heads, but the site number 10207463 it was hard to tell if it was an 8 or 6. There was also a 4 digit number 5341

How do you define best??

Some castings flow more as cast but are not well liked for porting so most of us specifically look for the "lower flowing" castings because they are the best starting point for porting. Either way as cast there is not a huge difference. Once ported it is all dependant on who did the porting, one shop can hurt the heads and accomplish little but killing average power, and another can make them capable of over 500rwhp with anything in between possible.

93 and 94 are very likely to be the same, 96 is more of the changing point. Later ones being thinner and less desirable for porting.
