self porting intake manifold? has anybody self ported their intake manifold, and if so have you seen good results?
are there any good write-ups on porting the intake? or is it not the major bottleneck?

Only thing to port on the intake, w/o head porting, is the throttle body ports. Even those don't need to be ported unless you NEED a 58mm, which very few of us NEED one.
Polishing would help a wee bit, but really it's not worth bothering.
