Default What kind of crank?

Im getting a new crank, any recomendations on a decent cheap one. im rebuilding the car and selling so im not looking for something great just something that works. scat has a stock replacement for like 183$ after shipping. eagles is around 190$ shipped but it says it will need to be balanced. the scat says it is already balanced and ready to go. anyone know whats better. btw, they both can be found on ebay

Look for a stock one but yea I would just go with a eagle or the scat. Never seen problems from either company, my buddy has a 383 eagle in his old truck runs great.

Do more research, Eagle is a bunch of overseas weirdos that have had issues with the crank snouts being undersized. I have read on problems from things being out of spec on the forums.

find a stock crank, people have taken them to 750-800 flywheel hp. Dont buy anything else unless your getting something forged or your stroking it.

I love my scat Crank I only have 600 miles on it because i just finished my build but its a nice peace of metal everything spec out really close plus you need to get it balanced to match your piston, rods, pins, rings, bearings. and the price is right under $200.
also i called scat and they said there crank 350 9000 will handle 600 hp.
plus with new crank your back to 0 no under size bearings if you get a regrind.

Stock crank > any other cast crank
Eagle has had issues, no clue why everyone runs them besides they are cheaper.
