Its recomended that you get it tuned, espically if you are deleting the AIR and EGR. I drove mine for about a week untuned, and it seemed okay, other than having an SES light.

are you going to be deleting the air and egr? if so then i would go ahead and get a tune. Like i said, i drove mine for about a week waiting for my tune to come in. I didnt really notice and problems other that the car staying in open loop.

It would run w/o a tune but better with one Plus you will squeeze out a few more ponies with the tune.

Usually no..if you can get the stock ones off! And get a mail order tune, you'll be happy you did.

Look into getting a LT4 knock module too.

The LT4 module takes a few minutes, basically pull the PCM out with 4 bolts, take off the back cover and swap em. But if you're getting tuned the tuner can make your stock module work fine.

You shouldn't. I ran without a tune and the car ran just fine. Car ran about .3 quicker too.

The knock module?? Just put it in before you send the pcm off to get tuned. 2 screw on the back and throw it in...maybe 2 min install with the pcm out

I seriously don't understand why people go to all the work to build a car and don't get a tune...plain retarded. Why not squeeze all the HP out you can and get the car to it's full potential. Don't listen to this guy this is a noob comment "you shouldn't" Great advise

Stealth, didn't we just go through this with some tool on here...lol
