Mine shifts at 6300 on the data log. Car was still making power on the dyno past that, but on a stock / rebuilt bottom-end I think thats all I wanna do. Im sure 6500 wouldnt hurt and gain a few tenths. That will be something to try for next year.

6000. it feels like it really lays over after 5600 rpm though.
that might change with my headers. I will get a chance to beat on it today......its gettin dyno tuned RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I shift at 7400-7600.....
built motor, shaft rockers, single plane, accufab tb... made power all the way to 7200 but power dropped off very slowly after 7200... So I grab gears around 7400 usually...

Like the first post I was always a bit un eased to shift at above 5k when I first got my lt1 but after I got it to the track and I was shifting at 5 and everyone called me crazy,
I never spun much higher cause I cant afford a new motor.
But after a few convincing arguments from here and local guys , I started shifting at 6500 stock bottom end and man does it pull. First time I chirped the tires plus I am just getting faster on the shift to,
Youll get used to spinning up higher just take the time getting there!
