Default SLP air temp module. a $.50 resistor?

found on Install University's website... it suggests that using 8100 ohm, ½ watt resistor would serve the same function when put in between the air temp sensor and the harness.

what would be the correct way to splice the resistor in to the car to try it out and see how it works?

i figure $.50 is worth a gamble to at least try it temporarily.

This mod isn't even worth doing. Even if it does richen it up. The computer will compensate and just lean it out again.
