they should say for SBC. Your not going to find a trickflow LT1 specific guideplate. (these come close to LT1 spec/needs)

Relax, take your time. Look online for where to trim the valve covers. You will thank yourself for upgrading right the first time. It seems you never know how far you will go with a motor buildup in the future, and doing it this way you will not be buying parts over again to fit your build.

Sweet they are for a SBC the 5/16 size threw me off. I was thinking about the 7/16 rockers/studs and read they are for 5/16 pushrods. LOL! I Think im safe! I just hate returning stuff.

So were those the right guideplates for a LT1?

I will be ordering all of the above shortly and a CC503 cam.
Will the Crane dual spring kit 10308 handle a CC503?

One side on EACH valve cover. I don't know which side, but I'd assume the back (closest to the intake) side, since the rear of the rockers are fatter than the fronts. Again, I don't know, so that's simply a guess.

Both valve covers...got it thanks. It is the side closer to the intake manifold, you can tell because the clearanced valve cover in the pic is the passenger side valve cover.
