2 ?s first should i delete the a/c, does it free up any power or is it just for the weight. second would it be a bad idea to run a 50/50 mix of 93 and 110 octane gas sprayin 100. car still on stock timing. thanks guys
I deleted the A/C and shaved I forget the exact amount but a solid 30-40lbs all together. The biggest plus would be how easy plug changes have gotten since I've deleted that along with the AIR/EGR. No power will have gained however but I feel the other gains atleast for me made it worth it. I'm no octane or gas expert but I would imagine that would just be a waste of money I'd just stick to the 93.

AC is really just weight, since the bearings used allow the pulley spin VERY easily. The octane mixing, you don't need to. All you need to do is run the highest octane pump gas (110 is pump I now, but you know what I mean lol) and some TR6 plugs. You can run 150 shot if you really want, w/o having to pull timing or worry about your bottom end. Yet it's been said that between 125 and 150, there's little difference w/o a tune.

Purely on what I think, I would presume that would make the quality of you gas at least a little better, but may not be worth the price. I am in Florida and since I daily drive ac delete is out of the question, but those pics above make it look appealing.
ac is weight loss....
the fuel is a big waste because if your timing is stock and injectors are stock then its just going to burn what it needs to and the rest will be unuses fuel blowing out your exhuast.....stick with the 93 octane man
