Default Would this be worth the sound

i have pacesettel lt's, pacesetter y and the slp lm2 catback w/3.5 slash pipes... it sounds good but not as smooth and deep as i would like...
so i'm thinking of putting two flowmaster 10 Series Delta Force 2.50" C/C p/n: 325108 on the tail pipes...
would i reach my goals of smoother, deeper sound or would it be too restrictive and not worth it?

IMHO, stay away from Flowmaster and you will be happy. Flowmaster is (to most) anything but smooth sounding

Like this, but just imagine it's slp lm2 and not a true dual setup...

if you are looking for a smooth and deep system, try the magnaflow kit(link provided)

http://www.jegs.com/i/Magnaflow/642/15620/10002/-1

sound - keep in mind that cameras dont always record the bass in an exhaust. its a bit deeper than this video sounds, but i think that would be close to what you are looking for.

If you want a smoother, deeper sound, I'd suggest staying away from the y-pipe. Go with true duals, with either an X or H pipe. I have an X pipe with knock off 10 series mufflers($25 a muffler instead of $90-$100, but the same exact thing), and absolutely love it. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9...ust_192864.htm

Thanks. And yeah, it does hang a bit low. I scrape them on everything. It's going back to the shop next Tuesday to get 1.7RR's and a UDP put on. While it's there, I'm having them move the mufflers to a more convenient place so I won't scrape them anymore. Here's the pics of how it is now though. Just go down a few posts on the page. https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-m...finally-2.html

Haha. You're telling me. At first I didn't think it'd be that bad. But, I scrape them atleast twice a day and it's really starting to **** me off. I'm hoping that after I get the mufflers moved back and the piping tucked up a little better, I'll be able to pull of an Eibach Prokit without scraping. But, I'm not sure I want to risk it. It doesn't look too bad at stock ride height right now anyways.

your exhaust sounds badass! just what i'm looking for... i just wanted to see if it would be worth doing to an untrue system... money money money!

i might as well look into true duals though...

one suggestion for you would be to put flanges on at the back in front of the rear-end so that when you want to change gears or rears it will be alot easier...

It really didn't cost that much. For everything (headers, piping, mufflers, clamps, etc., and labor), it still only cost me around $700. For a whole exhaust system, that's not too shabby. Either way, since you already have LT's, you could get the piping for ~$100 shipped, and the mufflers are only $65 shipped off eBay. Then, a shop might charge you a couple hundred for labor. Mine would've only been $200 labor, for everything, but they had so much trouble getting my old headers off that it ended up being $300.
