Get some LTs on it, the manifolds on these cars are pretty restrictive, i would say you should be scared if he already beet you from a small roll, i've seen a couple of them run really good, so if he beat you, i'm sure he will beat you again.

I raced one of those 350Z with exhaust and intake done, after i got my long tubes i put like 5-6 cars on him. I wouldnt worry about him you will stomp him once you do few more bolt-on's. The top end pull is way stronger with LT's.

I recommend rear LCA, adj. Torque arm, long tubes and you should be right around 12.7 - 12.9 depending on your 60ft.

You're running with the stock exhaust manifolds? Cut out or not, your exhaust is pretty much a bottleneck. It's equally important to get air out as it is to get air into the engine.

Hmmm, no cam, head/intake/TB work or bigger injectors, I'll say you'll hit right around 14 in the quarter.
No, he's good for mid 13's. The stall and gears make a huge difference, stock manifolds or not.

13.6 should be higher MPH than 98, no? Probably close though.

I've seen two 350z's that were supposedly over 400hp. one supercharged the other was turbo. They were getting tuned on the dyno so, I didn't witness them in action on the street... Just know that with enough money they will put up some numbers. I did see a G35 come up on the *** of two F-bods that were racing though. They started and THEN he pulled out from a driveway to follow and caught up to them like it wasn't anything. Supposedly it was turbo'ed. soooo.... I think this is the exception. The average run of the mill 350z stock is a low 14 second car.

I'm not racing him again. I'm afraid that a 14 second car beat me. But I am thinking now it was a new one. Cause it looked good and CLEAN.

No, if it doesn't run well then I'll just get suspension/LTs/cam/spray

Why would I ever want red? It's bad enough with cops around here in just a Trans Am. Why would I want a red one? I don't like tickets.

Chavez885, yup, I list my car with those numbers, "347 RWHP, 310 RWTQ" and I had run a best of 13.1 at 107. This was in summer ‘07 at Englishtown, N.J.

Are my times what they "should" be? At the time, I had all stock rear suspension, a crappy exhaust and a transmission that wouldn’t shift at WOT. All that’s fixed now and I would imagine that I’d break into high 12's. I still currently have 3.23 gears and a beaten, abused original high milage shortblock that endured a blown head gasket. One Fine Day I’d like to think I could build a stout 383 short block and swap in a 3.73 12 bolt.

What do you guys think I should be running now with a shifting tranny and no more wheel hop?

I do know this: Going to the dyno or track can be a very sobering experience. Often, track times or dyno results are less than hoped for.

One good thing tho. At Englishtown, I had the good luck of running our last runs next to my bud Joey in his stage one Neon dumdumdumdum. Spanked him pretty good, he turned somewhere in the mid 14's. Then again, HE seriously needs to go on a weight reduction program. Good times!

Either way for you to think that I would run a 14 second ET when I've added a stall (well known for doing a LOT for ET), gears, intake, cutout, and DRs is asinine.

I've owned a LOW 13 second car. I know what they feel like. This car WITH traction will run a LOW 13. With a full suspension setup I can fully believe a 12 second pass is possible.

If I had a heads/cam car that didn't run 11s I'd sell it for a honda.

Well, I do hope you'll run quicker than 14. I'd always estimate on the conservative side. I'd like to be in the 11's but I surely have ring issues. When I get on it, there's always a blue oil cloud left behind. Burning a quart every two tankfulls. Gotta run it as it is, work is slow and other bills are more important than the toys. I'm in the sound business, you think car stuff is expensive? HA!

Honda? Funny, I saw a NSX last week getting a speeding ticket, LOL!

I've been told anything from high 12s to mid 13s to your 14. I'm expecting a 13.5. Hoping for a 13.3. But I've never run DRs and never had a car this hard to launch either.

the new 07+ 350z are pretty quick believe it or not, this guy in town owns one and he walked all over a few bone stock ls1s. he (350z) is bonestock as well. they come stock with a claimed 315hp. and have dual intakes (thats how u can tell if its 07+). i raped him pretty good. i have some vids if u would like to see how a 07+ 350z does against a stock ls1 and a bolt-on ls1.

i say 13.5... although i don't no your elevation and what time of year you will be running...
if it were 1250' above sea level and 90 degrees with 80% humidity then i would say 13.8...
are you running dr's or slicks?
i would say better but those stock mannies are killing you... when you raced the 350z did you have your cutouts opened?
