who is using an lt1 and running 10s or lower post up specs and details on the motor and suspension and race weight id love to c wat u hav all done to get there.

mods in sig runs high 10s on gas car wieght 3680 with me in it. Have a UMI TQ arm and LCA.

My Formula ran 10.5's at Rockingham N/A. Stock intake, stock throttle body, stock rockers, stock size valves, stock lift cam, blueprinted .060 over LT1 with blueprinted stock head castings. 3000 lb race weight. Gotta love Stock Eliminator!

9.9 @ 146 mph. Stock weight++. Stock suspension. Budget build.

388 LT1 block, 4-bolt conversion, eagle crank, eagle rods, ross pistons, AFR210's out the box, 224/236-114 (.605/.593) cam, ported LT4 intake, 58 mm TB.

T-76GTS turbo, home-made piping, Bell water/air intercooler, 17 psi boost.

TH350 with Vigilante 10.5" converter, Ford 9" with 3.00 gear.

Stock ECU with Acceleronics Impedence converter, 84 lb/hr injectors, twin 255 lph pumps, 2 bar SD tune.

I went 11.0 at 120 with a bolt on car on nitrous and a th400 with full suspention.

my t/a has been 9.91 @ 140. 383 forged flat top pistons, 5.7 forged rods, scat cast crank. comp xfi 230/236 hydr. roller, 1.6 rockers, ported stock heads with stock 1.94x1.50 valves, stock intake, alvin anderson chip in the stock 93 computer. mezeire w/p, hooker long tubes, p/g trans. and at the time i had a 9" rear with 3.50 gears on 28x11.50 m/t e.t. streets. and a nos 200 dry shot.3200lbs. my 72 chevelle has been a 6.93@99.77 which should be 10.8-10.9s. it has 152k miles on a stock 95 lt1 bottom end. stock cam, the heads have been ported but with stock valves, intake, t/b, maf and computer are all stock with no tuning. it has headers, mezeire w/p, k/n cold air kit and comp 1.6 roller tip rockers and an nos dry kit. the trans. is a tci th/350 with a 10" streetfighter conv. and the stock 3.08 gears with a mini spool in the original 10 bolt rear. tires are 27x10.5 m/t e.t. streets. full exhaust but with cut outs. weight is 3480 lbs.

10.6 N/A eagle crank and rods,je pistons,4 bolt spalyed,afr 210 heads,1.6 jessel sportsman rockers,crower hippo solid lifters,cam is 264/271 .688/.660 108lsa,static compresson is 13.7:1,Kook 1 7/8 LT headers,super vic intake,90 mm acufab t.b,42 lb injectors,msd rear mound distributer,cranktrigger,msd digital 7,stock computer ,th400 manual reverse with t brake,5200 ati 8 inch race converter,12 bolt rear with spool and 410 gears,qa1 all around,wolfe rear dragbar,bmr extreme torque arm and lca`s,26 inch et drags on 15x10 prostars

in all its fairly stock

damn these r nice if u guys were to guess where my project would get me wat would u guess? were buildin a 383 all forged rotating assembly 6" H beam rods 11:8.1 cr by shanon engineering ported stock heads 2.02 1.6 valves 1.6rr ported stock intake 234/242 .612/.612 custom cam 200 shot wet with all mods in my sig as well as a midwest fab 9" and a set of hoosier quicktime pros and its a 6 speed 42lb/hr injectors

I know a guy who saw a guy who runs 10s with a LTx.


He said he had a cheap crank and rod with a set of heads done by some guy in Texas. He chopped up his intake and welded it up funny. Then he picked a few cam lobes out of the air and had them cut to a cam. Cheap set of headers and some stupid 4in exhaust.


I hear it comes out of the hole like a rapped cat!

My car finally gave up a couple of high 10s. A 10.92 and a 10.89 a few weeks back. For as nice as I treat her she should.
Stock shortblock, trans and rearend. LE heads and a small Joe O. cam, with a little juice to top it off. Looking for mid 10s next year, yeah right, like that will happen.
No clue on how much it weighs, maybe a hair less than stock, for now.
