Replacing Head Gasket Project Alright, check out the progress! I'm replacing a blown head gasket. Everything went pretty smooth. The intake was stuck on there good.
I'm going to take the car and heads to a machine shop monday to have them checked out, to make sure they arn't warped and to polish the matting surface. Is there a way I can clean the intake and inside the block where the spider is?

aye thats gotta suck! i pulled my intake off and got it sandblasted. looked 1000x better. engine looks pretty clean on the inside tho. and smart move to get the heads checked out. extra insurence
