Its all what you personally want from the car. A well setup cc503 car will move, mine sure did. But if you dont care about drivability, want to go faster yet, want to take some risk on the block then you can get greater performance from a larger cam like a gm847 etc. etc.

its goin to be stock internals so i dont want to spin it past 6300rpm

Because they are proven reliable performers. Had a TCI in my old set up and it tuned out to be a waste of money. Ran a Vig in my Bird and it was a solid product. Same goes for the Yanks. Get what you pay for.

If you had the few extra bucks id go custom ground then and get the most out of yuor money. I wanted to but nobody ever emailed me back so i went with the 847, shift it at 6600. And after i put in the 4.11s it really made that came perform a lot better. BUT it is to each there own.

dont know, never had the car together with good weather, now its winter so ill know next year.

But i did run a few camed ls1s and beat them... take that for what its worth
