Default What do you think of this setup?

Here is the setup i want to run! If you see anything here that i should look into changing let me know im open to suggestions. 95 camaro on spray. its would be a stock engine with EGR, AIR, A/C delete, a CC503, LTs, 52mm TB, 3' True Duals, SFCs, TCI 3200, 28' ET Streets, k&N CAI, 100 shot of nitrous, 30# Injectors, Walbro 255 and 4.10s What kinda times do you think is possible for this setup with a decent tune? Later on i want a 12bolt and built th350 with a brake. i want some high 10s low 11s out of this.

W/ the auto you might wanna stay w/ 373's...rest of the setup looks pretty good.

If it is primarily a track car or weekend warrior 4.10's would be okay but if you see any highway with speeds above 60mph it's really going to kill your gas mileage because you'll be revving so high. It looks like a killer setup though and you will definitely run 11's. If it were me though, I would ditch the TCI converter and get yourself a Yank 3200 stall. It's much more efficient and TCI has a bad rep. That is the one piece of your setup you don't want to cheap out on.

Ditch the TCI 3200 and go with a Yank SS3600. As others have said, 3.73 w/ the A4 unless it's strictly a track car. Other then that, what Nitrous set up are you looking at? There are other things that come into play with running a nitrous set up.

true i drove my car with 3:73s all the way from Cali to Texas and i got about 22highway miles but it was an annoying drive.....i couldn't of imagined myself doing it with 4:10's...i wonder if a long drive like that with high gears in a auto can add some strees to your motor

Yanks are the way to go

With the nitrous set up I would consider the the wet Nitrous Dave's Plate setup.

Im planning on running a dynotune Wet kit. Debating on converting it over to a plate system or not. Im planning on it being a fun weekend car not a daily driver or highway car.

The plate set up is the way to go when running nitrous...even though it is another $300 unless you can find someone parting one out.

The NX wet kit is $366 along with some other stuff you would need on top of that. Also, if you are wanting a 10 sec car or even a low 11's then you might want to consider a nice set of heads with your set up

Yea i just want to see how fast i can go with a CAM and Spray LT1 for a before i pull it apart and do a REAL build. This build is on a budget. I believe i can get low 11s out of it with the stock heads

11's are def doable...comes down to some a good stall and some sticky tires then....along with a good launch Good luck with the build. Oh ya, I would look into a Lloyd Elliott custom grind cam over the CC503. Lloyd has a version of the CC503 that you would prob have better results with. Just my 2 cents.

Want to see the reason converters like Yanks and Vigilantes come with a higher price tag?

i have 4.11 gears and its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Wish i did them from the start. And i also have a small tire (26x10 et drag) and the revs are still decent while driving on the e-way. And now with you having a 28'' tire id do it no questions asked. And personially since your buying it all now id go with a little bigger cam and stall with the 4.10s, it help you out that much more.

I really dont want to go much bigger than the CC503 because its the largest camshaft you cam run with the stock heads. What camshaft and stall would you guys recommend?

Its the not the largest cam you can run with stock heads its just essentially one of the largest that should really be considered with stock heads/block. The block is more so the limiting factor because more duration = more rpm and anymore rpm than what that cam wants can be dangerous to a stock shortblock. At the same time there are people out there running cc306, gm 847 etc. on stock heads/block and have had great results but its not for everyone, depends what you want out of the car but a safe bet is to go no larger in duration as something like the cc503 if you want long safe longevity and great results.

I would recommend a Yank or Vig Stall definetly not something to cheap out on.
